Refined Project Idea: Trace the Thread

Above is the mind map for our group proposal submitted during our class on Thursday (8/9). In compare to the previous one, this proposal is is more in-depth, in which it provides more detail on what we want to achieve and what we are going to do to hit our target.

It is about what my team members in charge of, what kind of outcome will be producing throughout the entire project, what technologies we will be using, the background of our client, the target audience, the budget list and last but not least, our draft schedule. We remained our project name as 'Trace the Thread'. However, there is a slightly change in the activities that we plan to carry out throughout the event. We remove the talk section since we worry it is too boring for people to sit down and listen to a person for one hour long. Besides that, we replace the design canvas bag section into silk-screen printing workshop which is suggested by me. Other than that, we try to make our sponsorship wall into an interactive way by asking the attendees scan the barcode on the wall and get little gift redemption on our booth. The reason we made these changes is due to we wish to involve more 3rd parties in action, instead of spoon-feed education.

For the task which given to each members, we have consider the strength and weakness for all the members. To carry out this event for who are doing journalism during diploma time, it is really a challenging task. No matter what, I am ready to take risk and I think this is a good opportunity to explore my potential throughout all the aspect of Mass Communication, include Journalism, Broadcasting, Advertising and also Public Relations. Intend to done this project in time, I come out with a gantt chart to be the guideline for all the members to follow.
