Update: Meeting with PPB Group (Venue Sponsor)

We have decided our preference venue since the very beginning. Hui Ying was send out the venue sponsorship letter to the Whiteaways Arcade's company once we confirmed our client. After the Senior Marketing & Promotion Executive in Property Division of PBB Group Berhad, Mr Looi Kim Sheng get back to her, we arranged a time for meeting to propose our idea in a more formal way in his office.
We reached there on time and Mr Looi was greet us with a big warm smile. A brief introduction of all members were given, and then we started to present our project idea. He was happy with our proposal and praised that it was the best and complete proposal he ever seen. The one and only requirement from him is the security deposit around RM1k and it is refundable. He allowed us to do the payment 1 month before our event execution date.

Before we end our meeting, we had asked him if it would be alright to check out the venue, which is located at Beach Street. Since Mr Looi is available at that time, he was happy to do so. After we met him at The Whiteaways Arcade's entrance, he led us around and explained the 'do and don't' for the venue to us, such as don't stick anything on the wall since it is an heritage building.
The gallery we get sponsored is around 2000 s.f. and he suggested us to have the opening ceremony and exhibition indoor. At the same time, he promised to have a meeting with TLM Event which is the company in charge of the Occupy Beach Street to make announcements when we are having the event upstairs and also keep the entrance part for our Second Hand Fashion Corner. Before we leave, he asked us to send him poster and other publicity materials as fast as possible to enable him to promote on their Facebook page. It was so great to deal with Mr Looi.
Below are the pictures of the venue we will use for our event. I am quite pleased and find the gallery room in The Whiteaways Arcade to be perfect, as there is crowd of people for Occupy Beach Street event and spacious.
