This is the 2nd meeting for Jin Ling, Queen Lee and me to follow up the progress of second hand fashion corner. Most of the artists are staying too far away from Penang, so they decline the invitation to join us.
However, Ms Queen will help us follow up the t.o.t.d since they are currently busy preparation work for Chritmas and do not have confirmation for us yet. Although it is in our expectation, we still sad to heard this.
Ms Queen suggested us to have a preloved sales by inviting colleges and universities students. We believes it is a good way to bring our event forward, and then we requested for the roadshow at Little Penang Street Market. She readily agreed on our request and promised to provide us 2 tables and 2 canopies on 30/10 (Sunday) from 10am to 4pm. We can start our preparation work at 9am.
I try to inquire about whether the market allow people to sell things that are unrelated to handmade. After I raised the suggestion of Sangkaya to sell their products on the spot and all the profit go to us, Ms Queen mentioned that it is not a problem for them.
As she know our budget is limited, she suggested us to ask for cooperation with culinary art students for our opening ceremony light food serving. We take noted as this is an impressing idea that we never think about.
As usual, we asked for a photo before leave. Ms Queen rejected us as she does not like to take photo. At the end, we did not force her for a photo.
——Afterward Discussion
After the meeting, I have a lunch date with Jin Ling. We talked about Ms Queen's suggestions. We decided to change into preloved sales market but targeting to invite those famous people on social media as they can bring more audience to us. Of course, we will open for public as well.
For the opening ceremony light food serving section, we are planned to discuss with the head of Culinary Arts at Inti International College Penang for further details as we also think that it is a good opportunity to promote their course.
After the discussion, we told Hui Ying and Ee Lin regarding the changes we made and they are happy with our decision.

Last time, we found out there is few frame shops located at Lebuh Chulia when we passed by. Jin Ling and me decided to take a walk to do some survey regarding the price of frame box in A3 size.
We visited 3 shops in total along the Lebuh Chulia. There is a big price gaps between them, from RM45 to RM80 per frame. Thus, we decided to get the shirt sample before we proceed this further.
Afterward, we informed Hui Ying to figure out the cheapest t-shirt wholesaler in Penang as fast as possible and also call to confirm the rest details with the person in charge of Sangkaya.
