3 Research Portfolio: Invitation Card
Below are examples of invitation card that I have researched. There is no much invitation card choices I can get and below are the similar style I am looking for. My aim is to have a simple yet elegant design to deliver our message to the receiver in a clear way.
1 | CULT

CULT is a monthly market of Cambodia's ethical brands, include fashion to accessories and beauty. It tends to promote an ethical and sustainable lifestyle with products that designed and made in their country.
This is the invitation card of CULT. Both of the logo and the drawing align together at the left side made the design look unbalanced, a bit too heavy to the left. For the right side, the information are clear delivery, as the main title is bold and sharp to the eyes. The importance of the information can be viewed accordingly to the font size. The use of the blue green color is to represent the creative expressions. Overall, it still looks nice but have the space to improve for their layout.
2 | Rosario Wedding

This is a wedding invitation card designed by Lauren Owen from USA.
The designer use of the fully 4 pages space, but with simple illustration. All of the design and words are in black color. Without any extra color, it successfully creates an elegant look by printing on the recycle paper. Other than that, the information in this invitation card is very complete, including the time, date, venue map, info, contact and so on which separate into different pages with playful design. It is a definitely attractive invitation card design.
Quality Statement
We are tend to do the similar invitation card design as above, which can fold into 4. The illustration and the layout of this design are simple and nice, in which we can refer to. In addition, we especially take note on the font style they used throughout the design as we think they are well used to build the elegant design.
3 |

This is an invitation card designed by Nick Brue for Kyle and Katie's wedding.
It is a simple and modern design by putting all the information on one page. The designer is very well know how to catch audiences' attention. The use of green color to highlight the words of 'SAVE THE DATE' and a arrow toward the date on a white background made people look at this two main point at very first sight. The use of different font styles do not make it look messy, but creative and stand out from others.
Quality Statement
We will include the smartly used of the color or arrow to lead the audiences' attention toward our main information of invitation card. However, we are not going to have an envelope as it may be an extra cost for our event. We will take this design into consideration if we decided to send e-card to our guests.
