1st Roadshow: Initial Preparation for Tutorial

We are planned to have more interactive with audience on our roadshow. Thus, Jin Ling, Hui Ying and me looking for some video on YouTube to look for the suitable tutorial to carry out during our roadshow.

At last, we decided to do bracelet by using old clothes. On Friday (14/10), Hui Ying and me went to Jin Ling's house because she has a few unwanted clothes for our practice usage. We follow the video step by step and teach each other as well. We learn from the failure and redo again for few times.

We are feeling so great when we done our bracelets within few hours of practice. I also suggested to take some photos, which can used for our publicity on Facebook.

The activities included in our 1st roadshow at Little Penang Street Market:

1. US Pizza will sell their pizza on the spot (50% of the profits will donate as financial support for our event)

2. Donation Box allows people to donate money

3. Registration of Upcycling Workshop (Natural Dye by Ms Jamie)

4. Upcycling Tutorial (Bracelet made by old clothes)

Job scope of every team members:

Jin Ling

- Deal with Ms Queen, who is the person in charge of Little Penang Street Market

- Provide unwanted fashion textiles

Ee Lin

- Prepare the textile to put on the table provided and donation box

- Print out the publicity materials.

Hui Ying

- Deal with US Pizza to come over for our roadshow

- Set up for roadshow

Sheau Teng

- Prepare for the tutorial and handle those audience on that day

- Set up for roadshow

As Jin Ling and Ee Lin are not available during our first roadshow, Hui Ying and me are the only person in charge of the 1st roadshow. We will also recruit some friends to help out during our roadshow.
