——Occupy Beach Street (Roadshow & Event)

The next day after Mr Looi from PBB Group Berhad passed me the contact numbers, I sent a message to Mr Alex, the boss of TLM Event Company to follow up the sponsorship request. He replied me within few minutes and promised to arrange one of his staff to take over this task.

At 5.00pm on the same day, Ms Wing, who fully in charge of Occupy Beach Street called me to have a depth understand regarding our event. She even sent me the registration form to conduct a roadshow at Occupy Beach Street and asked me to fill in the props we wish to borrow during the roadshow and event execution day.

After I have a short discussion with Jin Ling and Hui Ying, we asked for:

Roadshow - 6 tables & 20 chairs Event - 20 tables & 110 chairs

However, they are unable to borrow us so much table and chair on the event execution day and Ms Wing suggested us to go for fully sponsorship on that day from other corporate. I promised to update her again within short time regarding this part.

——Artists for Roadshow

With the helping hand of Mr. Lim Chun Woei, there is around 15 artists and Han Chiang College students will be joining us on the 2nd roadshow at Occupy Beach Street. I listed all of their name, phone number and email systematically in the Excel file.

Intend to reach all of them easily and effectively, I created a Whatapps group by adding all of them into the group and also Jin Ling since we are the main person in charge of this section.

As usual, I have sent the 2nd roadshow proposal details, which written by Jin Ling to all of the participants. Some of them were send me a private message to solve their doubts and I was happy to answer them.

In order to fit with our aims, we decided to use second hand clothes for this session, instead to purchase new clothes. I talked to Ms Laura, the assistant country coordinator of Fashion Revolution and Mr Lim regarding this before. Both of them encourage us to use old clothes and to have a pre-order session to minimize the budget for our event.

Thus, I bring this suggestion to my team members and all of them are agreed that it is a good plan that we never think about. In order to catch people attention, I requested all the participants to come out a draft and I will be in charge to post them on our Facebook Page for pre-order. In addition, Mr Lim also promised to help us on publicity part.

I am so excited to see their draft!
